About ECS Fabrications
ECS Fabrications offers a huge array of steel fabrication work, ranging from precision jigs/frames, up to 25T, to large structural steel frames, up to 1,500T.
All our steel fabrication work has CE Marking approval to EXC4, and our well-equipped and highly skilled fabricators can complete the following types of work to the highest standard:
- Primary structural steelwork
- Welded engineering assemblies
- Secondary metalwork
- Water processing structures
- Bridges walkways & support structures.
Steel fabrication capacity
Our main 50,000 sq. ft fabrication site in the North Midlands also includes our own steel stockyard with overhead cranage, ample storage facilities and pre-assembly area.
Within our fabrication facility, we have the latest Peddinghaus CNC cutting, milling and drilling machinery, together with extensive welding facilities and a flexible workforce able to work 24/7 to complete large fabrication contracts within demanding timescales when required.

Turnkey steel fabrication projects
We able to offer a full range of services to accompany our fabrication products, from ‘supply only’ to turnkey project management encompassing the complete project lifecycle.
This capability is illustrated by the projects we support, including supplying fabrications to the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), water industry, renewable power generation industry, CHP, nuclear, rail, processing, electrical, manufacturing, and materials handling sectors.

Our CE marking approval ensures we are well placed to tackle structures of all types, whether for critical applications or standard, we can adapt our approach seamlessly to provide high quality fabrications to a rigorous standard.
ECS provides full material and component traceability as standard with every fabrication, with the business tracking and tracing from initial sourcing from trusted suppliers, all the way through the various stages of production to the finished fabrication and final delivery to site. This provides all customers with a quality benchmark, and a proof of expertise regarding every fabricated product.
