"During the flooding events at the end of November 2012, we, the MEICA Team, have relied on your Company's responses to incident call outs. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of your staff for the response, commitment and professionalism that has been shown during these difficult times. Without this, I am sure that we would have struggled to meet the high volume of staffing requirements across the region. I would like to specifically thank the individuals who had the unenviable task of 'baby sitting' on a 24/7 basis at Kempsey Pumping Station. This particular task was not only 'mind numbing' for the individuals but did help enormously to mitigate the considerable unease that occurred within the village after the flooding event. We would also like to thank other members of your staff who responded to other call outs across the region, such as New Zealand, Keadby, Low Bank and Bull Hassocks. "Thanks for the prompt sending of the images! And the new quay heading! We enjoyed our first kayak trip in 8 months and it was a joy to negotiate the locks with your new ramps and lower deck, especially on the return leg when we were more tired. You obviously were very thoughtful about all who may be using the structure. It was safe, with nothing to snag the boat, or our clothes... Lovely. Well done. Just a couple of mooring rings would finish it off nicely! We look forward to putting that stretch of river high on our list of places to regularly kayak and we will tell everyone we know, including the BCU, about the good job your company has made of it.

"Just a quick note of commendation for the work you completed for us at Calverton. We discovered that a pump had failed/seized and despite our efforts, we were unable to get the pump working. As you are only too aware, this was a serious situation as we rely completely on the pumps to provide life-support for the fish. At very short notice you organised the crane, staff and all the necessary paperwork to lift out the faulty pump and replace it with the new spare you have been storing for us. All of the work was carried out safely, to a high standard and with minimal operational disruption. The flow of water was uninterrupted during this period and we were able to continue as normal. A good job!"

"I write to you concerning the recent works carried out by ECS Ltd for Lankhorst and The National Trust, constructing the new foot bridge at Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge. I have to say that the final construction looks absolutely fantastic. The level of detail and finish your construction team put into the bridge is first class. I can also tell you that the architect and site warden at Hardcastle Crags are delighted with the finished product. I am aware that your team had to overcome some considerable difficulties, not only in building the bridge, but also in accessing the site on a daily basis. The level of commitment, professionalism and sheer determination shown by your team to finish the project to a high standard leaves me in no doubt that both Lankhorst and ECS will be given further opportunities to show what can be done using KLP recycled plastics. "I would like to commend the two employees from ECS who were sent to Tower Village to connect the new supply to the 'main switch' after the meter had been fitted by Central Networks. Central Networks did not turn up to site until 3.00pm; they then left at 5.30pm, at which time your employees had to start work after waiting around all day - and on the hottest day of the year so far! Once again well done and excellent work."
"After my site visit to Elkesley to inspect your work on the inlet works sack handling issues. We were very impressed with the solution and the standard of work to the channel and the area around it. There were no sharp edges on old fixings and all the waste was removed and the area left neat and tidy. Congratulations on everything being 100%. Carry on with this standard of work and it will be a bonus for all of us. This gives us the confidence in recommending your standard of work to others".
"Thanks to your lads working on the process review actions at Redmile. I dropped in yesterday and found the working area to be well demarked and tidy and the lads were working safely and wearing the correct PPE. What was most pleasing from this is that it was an unannounced drop-in visit which suggests that the lads are working safely as part of the working culture. I was also pleased that the site agent requested that the authorisation be extended whilst I was on site as it saved himself a journey to Melton to get a new one and saved me from having to go through the electronic paperwork again. I hope we can continue working in this fashion and deliver the right solutions for both our companies. Thanks again."

I would particularly like to express my gratitude to Karl, for all the hard work he put in to ensure early issues from both AWS and ourselves were quickly addressed and resolved. I have spoken to AWS and they have expressed how impressed they were with the way Karl approached the issues and concerns he had, and the professional manner in which they were resolved by yourselves. Also, thanks to Bryan; his phone was pretty hot from phone calls from me in the early stages when things seemed to be getting worse and worse, and no one on site could give me any answers as to what was going on. "I would like to express our gratitude to you for your words of appreciation. A project such as Keadby Pumping Station that requires specialist trades that both ECS and Red7Marine provides, all too often goes unrecognised, in part I believe to the overall teams' capability to make a job 'look easy'. We are always pleased to hear when the men are providing the services in line with our expectations but most of all when the lads can be both innovative and improvise when working towards a solution. We certainly relate to ECS's approach to business which we find very modern,but also traditional without having to be firm contractually, and I hope that we will continue to support each other in the years to come.
