ECS Engineering Services have over 20 years experience of providing solutions to a wide range of challenges presented by our utility clients and we have been awarded several framework contracts as a consequence of our engineering capability. Mechanical Installation Services
ECS offers a comprehensive range of mechanical installation services covering the entire spectrum of plant and equipment such as pumps, screens, tanks, penstocks and associated pipework, supporting steelwork, lifting and handling equipment. Our installation teams are directly employed, highly experienced and well trained to offer the safest working practices while working at height or in confined spaces.
Electrical Installation Services
Our in-house Electrical Engineering Department supports our turnkey activities but also offers standalone electrical services for installation of process equipment, monitoring, actuation and telemetry. We partner with industry leading MCC manufacturers to provide control solutions of the highest standards. ECS are members of the ECA and offer NECEIC certification of our finished installations.
Minor Civil Engineering
Our in-house civil capability underpins our other services, with a diverse skill set able to undertake a wide extent of civil engineering projects. Partnering agreements with major civil contractors enable us to take on much larger projects such as complete pump stations or inlet works construction. All our work is undertaken with an eye on minimising waste and our environmental footprint.
Pipe & Process Work
The design and installation of above ground pipework is a speciality at ECS, in a wide range of materials including Ductile Iron, MDPE and custom fabricated options in mild and stainless steel. All necessary pipe supports are designed and manufactured in-house for a rapid response and least cost option. Our teams are confined space trained for installation in chambers and excavations. An emergency response solution is available.
Control & Automation
Our engineering teams have a wide range of experience in the installation and commissioning of valve and penstock actuators, monitoring equipment such as ultrasonic level sensors and magnetic flow meters. All items can be provided within new MCC provision, or by adaptation into existing PLC and telemetry systems.
Access Metalwork
Almost all projects require the provision of safe access for your operational or maintenance teams, and although this often remains an afterthought for many clients, its full integration into a working final system is a complex and involved process. ECS have in-house survey, 3D design and fabrication facilities and our capabilities for access equipment supply are embedded with years of experience of providing solutions in galvanised mild steel, GRP or stainless steel.
